In May the Hopewell Jewels, Gems and Youth Group invited the AMS
 to an evening of songs and stories. 
The youth told about what they had learned from their Mission Study on Refugees. 
The Youth Group presented the play a Leap of Faith. 
Following this we shared a taste of foods from the countries we studied. 
Everyone had a “fun” evening.

 

 

The Hopewell Jewels, Gems and Youth Group made Mitts for Missions. 
For a month we had over forty mittens hanging in our hall. 
We collected $105 to send to AMS missions.

Rock-a-thon for Haiti
 
On January 30,2010 Calvin Youth Group in Miramichi, N.B.
 held an 8 hour Rock a thon for Haiti Relief. 
Six teenagers were successful in raising $1100.00 
Following the rock a thon, a spaghetti supper was held in the church hall. 
The youth served the meal prepared by ladies in the church.
 
 
 


 

 

 
The youth group also participated 
in their annual 30 Hour Famine for World Vision on Easter weekend . 
The group were able to raise $1000.00 for this cause.
